Capricorn Bunker Group
The islands and reefs of the Capricorn and Bunker Group are situated astride the Tropic of Capricorn at the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef. Located 50 nautical miles east of Gladstone, which is situated on the central coast of the Gladstone Region, Queensland, Australia.
The Capricorn Bunker group of islands with many bommies and drop offs offer some great snorkelling, lure, popping, jigging as well as reef edge fishing. This is all available from one our five tenders available. There is also drift fishing for species such as coral trout, red throat emperor, spanish mackerel (often caught adjacent to reef edges), cod, tuskies and many more reef species.
